A Mandala is a sacred geometric design often used in religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism; has a center circle which represents the universe, God, and wholeness; usually has symmetrical patterns and symbols radiating out from the center to emphasize harmony, balance, and the interconnectedness of all things; can be a tool of self-discovery; may enhance spiritual understanding; and was used by Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist Carl Jung as a therapeutic tool and a symbol of wholeness and psychological integration
